Microfiber spunbonded nonwoven fabric
Microfiber spunbonded nonwoven fabrics are being jointly developed. Soluble resin and PP or PE, PA, etc. are used for composite spinning. One component is PP (or PE, PA) and the other is Excevaltm.
Excevaltm is soluble in water below 90℃, biodegradable, and can absorb water. It is hydrophilic and has thermal adhesion after being compounded with PP (or PE, PA), so it is very easy to net. This kind of spunbonded nonwoven fabric has much better water absorption performance than ordinary spunbonded fabrics. Although it’s areal density is small, its strength can still be equivalent to that of traditional spunbonded fabrics. It is a good material for durable clothing.
Spunlaced non-woven fabric is characterized by soft hand feeling, bulkiness, high hygroscopicity, and wide use of fiber materials. It is the most suitable non-woven fabric for clothing. Therefore, its application in durable clothing has been studied most. U.S. patents report a durable spunlaced nonwoven fabric that has good abrasion resistance and drape, is not prone to pilling, and has good color fastness. When the elongation in the vertical machine direction is 50%, the recovery rate can reach 90%, and it can be washed at least 25 times. The non-woven fabric has good elasticity, is suitable for making shirts and outerwear for daily wear, has close-fitting comfort, good mechanical strength and aesthetics, and is an ideal clothing material.
