What are the advantages and disadvantages of high production non woven cloth making machine in Spain ?
There are many manufacturing processes, among which the spunbond method is one of the non-woven fabric manufacturing processes, spunbond non-woven fabric
( including spunbonding, meltblowing, hot rolling and hydroentangling, most of the non-woven fabrics produced by spunbonding are now on the market. )
Non – woven fabrics include polyester, polypropylene, nylon, spandex, acrylic, etc. according to their composition. Different compositions will have different styles of non-woven fabrics. Spunbonded cloth usually refers to polyester spunbond and polypropylene spunbond. The styles of these two kinds of cloth are very similar and can only be identified by high temperature tests.
Non – woven fabric is a kind of non-woven fabric. It is a non-woven fabric formed by directly using high polymer chips, short fibers or filaments to weave fibers through air flow or machinery, then through hydroentangling, needling, or hot rolling reinforcement, and finally through post – finishing. A new type of fiber product with soft, breathable and planar structure has the advantages of no fiber chips, toughness, durability and silky softness, and is also a kind of reinforcing material, and also has the feeling of cotton. Compared with cotton fabrics, non-woven fabric bags are easy to form and cheap to manufacture.
Advantages:
1. Light weight: polypropylene resin is used as the main raw material for production, with a specific gravity of only 0.9, which is only three-fifths of cotton, fluffy and feels good.
2. Softness: It is made of fine fibers ( 2 – 3D ) and formed by light hot melt bonding. The finished product is moderate in softness and comfortable.
3. Water – repellent and breathable: polypropylene chips do not absorb water, have zero water content, and the finished product has good water-repellent property. It is made up of 100 % fiber and has good air permeability, which is easy to keep the cloth surface dry and easy to wash. Polypropylene non-woven fabric
4. Non – toxic and non – irritating: The product is made of food-grade raw materials conforming to FDA, does not contain other chemical components, has stable performance, is non – toxic, does not have peculiar smell, and does not irritate the skin.
5. Antimicrobial and anti-chemical agents: Polypropylene is chemically inert, does not decay by insects, and can isolate bacteria and insects in the liquid. Antibacterial, alkali corrosion and finished products do not affect strength due to corrosion.
6. Antibacterial property. The product is water – extractable, not moldy, and can isolate the corrosion of bacteria and insects in the liquid, not moldy.
7. Good physical properties. It is made from polypropylene spinning directly laid into a net and thermally bonded. The strength of the product is better than that of common staple fiber products, with no directional strength and similar longitudinal and transverse strength.
8. In terms of environmental protection, polypropylene is used as the raw material for most non-woven fabrics, while polyethylene is used as the raw material for plastic bags. Although the two materials have similar names, their chemical structures are far apart. The chemical molecular structure of polyethylene has very strong stability and is extremely difficult to degrade, so it will take 300 years for the plastic bag to decompose. However, the chemical structure of polypropylene is not firm, and the molecular chain can be easily broken, so that it can be effectively degraded, and enter the next environmental cycle in a non-toxic form, and a non-woven shopping bag can be completely decomposed within 90 days. Moreover, the non-woven shopping bags can be reused more than 10 times, and the pollution to the environment after being discarded is only 10 % of that of plastic bags.
Disadvantages:
1 ) Compared with textile fabrics, the strength and durability are poor.
2 ) It cannot be cleaned like other fabrics.
3 ) The fibers are arranged in a certain direction, so they are easy to split from the right angle direction and so on. Therefore, the improvement of the production method mainly focuses on improving the prevention of splitting.
