1.What is non-woven bag?
The professional name of non-woven fabrics should be nonwoven fabrics. The national standard GB/T 5709-1997 Terminology of Textiles and Nonwovens defines non-woven fabrics as: sheet fabrics, fiber webs or wadding mats made of directional or randomly arranged fibers by friction, cohesion, or adhesion, or the combination of these methods, excluding paper, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, tufted fabrics, and wet shrink felt products, Nonwovens are commonly found in masks, diapers, sanitary napkins, wet wipes, cotton napkins, industrial dust removal filter bags, geotextiles, car interiors, carpets, air purification filter materials and other products in our daily life.
Non woven fabric bag is made of non-woven fabric by cutting and sewing. At present, its materials are mainly polypropylene spunbonded non-woven fabric and polyester spunbonded non-woven fabric, and its process is evolved from chemical fiber spinning.

2.Where are non-woven bags active?
After the (“plastic restriction order”) was issued, the production, sales and use of traditional disposable plastic bags were comprehensively restricted.
The non-woven bag has the characteristics of “reusable”, “low cost”, “durable”, “supporting the printing of relevant content for brand promotion”, and is favored by some merchants. The ban on plastic bags in some cities has also made non-woven bags a substitute for disposable plastic bags, which are widely used in all walks of life, especially in supermarkets and agricultural markets. In recent years, as the outer packaging of takeout meals, it has also appeared more in the view of consumers. Some “thermal insulation bags” used for food insulation are also made of non-woven fabric.

3.Cognition, reuse and disposal of non-woven bag
Most people know about non-woven bags and their raw materials. As for the reasons for not reusing non-woven bags, “poor quality”, “low applicability”, “ugly” and “bags with other alternatives” are often mentioned.

4.Suggestions for sustainable packaging
a.Guarantee the “reusable” feature of non-woven bag.
After the non-woven bag is recycled for a certain number of times, its environmental impact will be less than that of the traditional disposable non degradable plastic bag. Therefore, the non-woven bag should be advocated for repeated use.Formulate standards for production, ensure that the production quality of the whole process passes the standard, and purchase non-woven fabric bags that meet the requirements of the standards to ensure the durability and service life of non-woven fabric bags. Only when the number of uses is far greater than that of plastic bags, can their environmental protection value be better reflected, which is one of the hard conditions for non-woven fabric bags to be used as environmental protection bags.

b.Reduce the use of unnecessary non-woven bags
Bags can be paid. Non woven cloth bags are not provided for free when you buy things. You can pay for them when you need them. Under the condition that the bag is not damaged, the customer can be reminded that they can bring the bag to purchase goods again during the next purchase.

c.Full use
Try to use your own non-woven bag and reuse it.

d.Use closed loop
Strengthen cooperation with resource recovery enterprises to improve the reuse rate of non-woven bags.
Damaged, dirty and other non-woven bags that cannot be reused shall be sent to the recycling site for recycling if conditions permit.
